phpBB3 SEF URLsOk, big question HOW did you set your SEF URLs in p8pBB-Joomla bridge?
I keep seeing that the phpBB SEO Mod provided by http://www.phpbb-seo.com does NOT working in your pre-sales posts to the forum... So how did you do it? Are you using using phpBB SEO Mod? If so, what settings? Are you using p8pBB-Joomla bridge here (in THIS forum)? with phpBB3 in a sub-folder? Are you using p8pBB Light? Are you using on HTACCESS to set this? if so do you mind sharing it? Thanks much... enjoying the p8pBB-Joomla bridge, but can't seem to get good SEF URLs going!! Sorry for the novel here, this begs another question: If I use p8pBB Light, can I add SEF (and other) mods to phpBB more easily? Also does p8pBB Light include latest activity and tags Joomla modules?
Re: phpBB3 SEF URLsThe bridge has its own router which creates nice SEF URLs, with ability to setup URL aliases for forum names and auto-generate aliases for forum topics.
We don't use SEO Mod and our bridge is not compatible with it (light version is compatible, the MOD is installed as usual). We are using full version here. The bridge requires to add few redirections in .htaccess, but this code doesn't create SEF URLs, it just redirects the original phpBB URLs to the bridge URLs. Light version doesn't include any modules. Let he without sin throw the first stone.
Re: phpBB3 SEF URLs
I have turned it off for now... but the URLs p8pBB-Joomla bridge (full version) generated URLs like [domain.com]/forums/5/156 Yet, your URLs are not numbered... it must be your HTACCESS file, no? and where are the settings that control that?
Re: phpBB3 SEF URLsI see...
