Feature request for advanced integration. We are finishing the advanced JomSocial integration, please feel free to discuss your thoughts here.
Integration now have synchronization of profile fields, avatars, we have also added the tabs to profile: You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. Let he without sin throw the first stone.
Re: Feature request for advanced integration.my thoughts are this is going to be a killer app for jomsocial
Re: Feature request for advanced integration.Where the 'latest posts', 'my posts' will be displayed? Will it go to phpbb or they'll be showed within jomsocial's profile page?
Features' requests: - add activity to jomsocial's activity stream when a new post/reply is made in phpbb - add/remove points when members start new topic/reply to posts/delete posts
Re: Feature request for advanced integration.
It will go to phpBB. Let he without sin throw the first stone.
Re: Feature request for advanced integration.Wow, joomsocial seems pretty cool. Kinda wish I would have gone that way. Oh well.
Re: Feature request for advanced integration. When will it be available?
Re: Feature request for advanced integration. It is almoust ready, testing now...
The problem is that it is impossible to synch friends from JomSocial to phpBB. Right now if you add/remove friend in phpBB - this friend is also added/removed from your JS account (you can also setup 'Auto-approve phpBB friends' setting). But JS doesn't have ability to synch its friends actions, so deleting friend in JS won't delete friend in phpBB. There is a trick how to force JS to do it, but it requires time Next problem is phpBB signature: impossible to make it full featured like for our CB integration. Let he without sin throw the first stone.
Re: Feature request for advanced integration.blimey , thats more integrated than i was hoping for , just avatar sync would have done me
Re: Feature request for advanced integration. Please look at agora forum for insp. on how to integrate phpbb
http://joomlame.com/index.php?option=co ... Itemid=123 This would ROCK !!!!!
Re: Feature request for advanced integration.Does PHPBB3 have to be in the same database as JomSocial or can they be 2 separate databases? If one, can it be modified to allow 2 databases?
